Hi my name is Brendan Pagel and I am a graduate of Oakland University with a major in Journalism and a minor in Public Relations. I have always had a passion for sports and would love to work in any position where I can write or talk about sports. I have had opportunities at Oakland University where I expressed my passion for sports in writing recaps for Oakland Sports events, ran team social media accounts, and I was even able to broadcast baseball games at WXOU. I also had the opportunity to work at the United Shore Professional Baseball League. While I was there I was able to create my own stat sheets, use Trackman to collect pitcher and hitter data, and I was also able to write about the different athletes that the USPBL has to offer and tell their stories. Whether it is written work, or jobs where I need to communicate, I am just as passionate about my work as I am for sports.
